Role Overview:

We are looking for a Data Cloud Platform Architect to join our team and support one of our clients in the design, development, and optimization of a large-scale cloud data platform. You will play a key role in architecting secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions, guiding the evolution of cloud-based data ecosystems, and driving standards for engineering excellence.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for architect and design cloud-based data platforms using AWS services and Terraform, lead large-scale data migration, optimization, and modernization initiatives, prototype and define coding standards in Python and SQL, ensuring high-quality engineering practices. Manage Iceberg tables and build scalable data pipelines with Airflow or Step Functions, enforcing governance, security, and CI/CD best practices.

What you are like:

• Degree in Computer Engineering or similar;

• Proficient in architecting cloud data solutions on AWS, with complementary knowledge of Azure;
• Skilled in Python and SQL, with the ability to define coding standards and develop prototypes;
• Experienced in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and cloud platform deployment;
• Proficient in orchestrating data pipelines using tools like Airflow or Step Functions;
• Experienced in data governance, security enforcement, and architectural best practices;
• Comfortable defining CI/CD strategies tailored for data engineering;
• Knowledgeable in ETL/ELT processes and capable of working with high-volume data environments;
• Fluent in English.
