Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (OCI) to join one of our Nearshore Teams working remotely for international clients accross The Netherlands, Germany and other European countries.

You will play a key role in maintaining and evolving Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environments, enabling DevOps teams through reusable platform capabilities, and ensuring the security, reliability, and operational excellence of the platform.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and continuously improve OCI landing zone capabilities, including governance, networking, security controls, and platform standards;
• Manage and optimise cloud infrastructure services, including networking, load balancing, VPN connectivity, firewalling, and private access solutions;
• Deploy, manage, and enhance Kubernetes (OKE) and Kafka environments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and operational efficiency;
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD solutions using Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins;
• Implement monitoring, logging, observability, backup, disaster recovery, and security controls while supporting DevOps teams with best practices and platform services.

What you are like

• Proficient in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI);
• Experienced with Kubernetes, container platforms, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform;
• Knowledgeable in cloud networking, security, IAM, VPNs, firewalls, and WAF technologies;
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, automation practices, and DevOps methodologies;
• Comfortable working with monitoring, observability, disaster recovery, and cloud governance frameworks;
• Have good communication skills in English - as you will collaborate daily with international teams.
