Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer to integrate one of our Nearshore teams working remotely for international clients accross The Netherlands, Germany and other European countries.

In this role, you will design and build scalable data solutions on modern cloud platforms, helping organisations unlock the full value of their data through robust, high-performing architectures and analytics-ready datasets.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP, with a focus on Databricks;
• Build and optimise batch and streaming data processing solutions for large-scale datasets;
• Translate business and technical requirements into robust data models (3NF, dimensional, and/or Data Vault);
• Deliver analytics-ready datasets using modern platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake;
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and availability through validation, monitoring, and error-handling mechanisms;
• Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices to automate testing, deployment, and release of data solutions;
• Collaborate with stakeholders, analytics teams, and data scientists to support reporting, analytics, and AI use cases;
• Continuously contribute to performance optimisation, cost efficiency, and innovation in data platforms.

What you are like

• Experienced in building and managing data pipelines in cloud environments;
• Highly proficient in SQL and/or Python for data engineering tasks;
• Skilled in data modelling approaches such as 3NF, dimensional modelling, or Data Vault;
• Proficient with Databricks and/or Snowflake platforms;
• Knowledgeable in cloud ecosystems such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform;
• Familiar with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines applied to data workflows;
• Strong communicator with the ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders;
• Have good communication skills in English - as you will collaborate daily with international teams.
