At AltynexAI, we develop solutions that connect cloud software, Artificial Intelligence and physical equipment. We are
looking for a Full-Stack Developer to join the team and contribute to the development of technology products used in realworld
vending, autonomous retail and logistics.

You'll work across APIs and web interfaces through to communication with IoT equipment, with the opportunity to explore
and integrate Computer Vision and AI models for product recognition, automation, data analysis and new user
experiences.

The challenge
Build software that doesn't stop at the browser: it communicates with devices, payments, sensors, cameras and
real equipment. You will have room to contribute to architectural decisions and experiment with technology that
has a direct impact on the product.

What you'll do

• Develop backend services in C# / .NET and ASP.NET Core, including APIs and services.
• Build and evolve web interfaces in React and TypeScript.
• Work with SQL databases and data flows between cloud services and equipment.
• Integrate IoT devices and gateways, including MQTT and other communication protocols.
• Experiment with, evaluate and integrate AI and Computer Vision models, including product recognition and image analysis scenarios.
• Contribute to the integration of digital payments and external services.
• Contribute to architecture, security, testing, observability and CI/CD.

What we're looking for

• Development experience with C# / .NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Good knowledge of React, TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Experience with REST APIs, relational databases/SQL and Git.
• Strong software engineering foundations: readable, testable, well-structured and maintainable code.
• Autonomy, technical curiosity and the ability to investigate and solve end-to-end problems.
• Use of Artificial Intelligence tools to support software development.

It will be a plus if you've worked with…

• Microsoft Azure, Docker, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• MQTT, IoT architectures, embedded systems or software–hardware integration.
• Computer Vision and frameworks/models such as OpenCV, YOLO, PyTorch, TensorFlow or multimodal models.
• Running AI models on edge devices or integrating cloud inference services.
• Payment gateways, serial protocols, MDB or vending/autonomous retail systems.

You don't need to master all of these technologies. What matters most to us is strong engineering foundations, the ability
to learn and the motivation to work on a product where software, AI and hardware come together.

Location and working model
The role is based around Leça da Palmeira / Estarreja, Portugal, with the option of a hybrid/remote component. Availability
for in-person meetings and integration testing with equipment and prototypes when needed will be valued.
