Role Overview:

We are looking for a System Administrator to join one of our Nearshore teams working remotely for internation clients accross The Netherlands, Germany and other European countries.

This role involves supporting and optimising both on-premises and cloud-based systems, contributing to lifecycle management, and ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable environments.

What you will do:

• Administer, maintain, and optimise Windows Server (2016+) and Linux systems;
• Support containerisation initiatives, including the setup of new environments and landing zones;
• Automate systems and infrastructure using PowerShell, Terraform, and YAML-based tools (Ansible/Puppet);
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting application and infrastructure delivery;
• Manage and support Azure environments within hybrid architectures;
• Work with OpenShift and container-based platforms;
• Support Citrix environments, including image management and application packaging;
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across Windows and Linux environments;
• Maintain system security, patching, and lifecycle management activities;
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders and clients, ensuring clear communication and service quality.

What you are like:

• Proficient in Windows Server administration and maintenance;
• Comfortable and capable in Linux system administration and troubleshooting;
• Experienced with automation tools and scripting, including PowerShell, Terraform, and YAML-based configurations (Ansible/Puppet);
• Knowledgeable in containerisation and orchestration platforms, such as OpenShift;
• Familiar with Microsoft Azure and hybrid infrastructure environments;
• Skilled in monitoring and logging tools, such as Zabbix and ELK;
• Strong communicator, confident in engaging directly with stakeholders and clients;
• Fluent in English, as you will work daily with international teams using English as the main language.
