Role Overview:

We are looking for a Business Analyst (Actuarial Systems) to integrate our teams into a leading client within the insurance sector. This role will combine functional analysis, application support, contributing to continuous improvement and evolution of financial risk and calculation solutions.

What you will do:

• Collaborate with the Product Owner and squad to build, refine and prioritise the backlog, including user stories definition and clarification of business needs;
• Provide functional and technical support for actuarial applications and related ecosystems (in-house tools and platforms);
• Monitor, investigate and resolve incidents in line with SLAs, ensuring application stability, scalability and performance;
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities, enhancements and releases with stakeholders, including offshore teams;
• Design and execute non-regression and sanity tests, contributing to platform testing and quality assurance;
• Communicate effectively with business users and technical teams, translating technical changes, security fixes and operational impacts;
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge base updates and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you are like:

• Proficient in Excel with VBA and experienced in scripting or automation (Python is a plus);
• Skilled in application support, testing (non-regression, sanity) and incident management practices;
• Knowledgeable in cloud environments and comfortable working with complex application ecosystems;
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and practical ITIL processes;
• Client-oriented, proactive and autonomous, with strong problem-solving capabilities;
• Fluent in French (C1 mandatory) and confident in English (B2), with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders;
• Team-oriented, adaptable and eager to continuously learn and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
