Someone who has gone beyond experimenting with LLMs and AI APIs — who has designed, built and shipped AI solutions into production, understands what it takes to move from prototype to scalable architecture, and knows how to make AI work in demanding environments.

As AI Architect Leader, you will define and drive the technical vision for AI across our digital banking platform, working at the intersection of AI, software architecture, product and financial services.

Role and responsibilities:

• Define the AI architecture strategy for ebankIT;
• Help shape how AI becomes part of the next generation of digital banking experiences;
• Work closely with engineering, product and business teams to identify where AI can create genuine value;
• Mentor engineers and architects, raising the organisation’s AI engineering capabilities;
• Design scalable architectures around LLMs, GenAI, AI agents, RAG and intelligent automation;
• Turn emerging AI capabilities into production-ready solutions, not just proofs of concept;
• Establish patterns, standards and best practices for building secure, observable and responsible AI systems;
• Lead technical decisions around model selection, orchestration, data, integration, security and cost.

Profile:

• Experience with technologies such as LLMs, GenAI, RAG, AI agents, cloud platforms and modern software architecture;
• Experience working with international markets environments;
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills;
• Curiosity, pragmatic and the able to turn ideas into production systems;
• Ability to work effectively across teams and build trust-based partnerships;
• Capable of managing multiple priorities and delivering results;
• Fluency in English (mandatory);
• Availability to travel internationally.
