Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Enterprise Architect to join our teams in a challenging international project within the financial sector. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and governing cloud architecture standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving the adoption of cloud-native technologies and best practices across the organisation.

What you will do

• Define and enforce cloud architecture governance, standards, and best practices aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements;
• Drive the execution of cloud transformation and migration roadmaps, assessing application portfolios and supporting strategic decision-making;
• Deliver architectural blueprints, design patterns, and reference frameworks to ensure consistency, scalability, and reusability across technology teams;
• Advise stakeholders on cloud-native architectures, DevOps practices, API strategies, infrastructure automation, AI/ML adoption, and modern software engineering approaches.

What you are like

• Experienced in enterprise, cloud, and solution architecture within complex and distributed environments;
• Proficient in one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or IBM Cloud;
• Skilled in containerisation, orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible;
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and software development best practices.
