1. Needs

Active Space Automation is looking for an Industrial Automation Engineer, or similar, for the industry area, to be the technical manager of AGVs deployments. This is a challenging position with excellent professional and personal development opportunities in a highly growing department.
As a technical manager of deployments, it is expected that this person masters all the technical aspects of the installs and quality procedures, design the most suitable technical solutions for the installs and share the implementation activities among the technical team.

2. Duties & Responsibilities
• Management of Installations/Maintenance/Training department
• Definition of department annual objectives
• Definition of internal procedures and quality workflows
• Coordinating technical teams, regarding technical topics of installs
• Technical leading and orientation for AGVs deployments and installations
• Solution designer – Understanding of customer needs and development of technical solutions
• Providing technical support to business development activities
• Assure proper training regarding maintenance and correct use of the equipment

3. Minimal Requirements:

3.1 Academic Qualification

• Engineering degree in Electronics, Electromechanics, or similar

3.2 Key Technical Knowledge

• Industrial automation and robotics
• Industrial sensors and actuators
• Industrial communications
• Electric circuits and protection design
• PLC and inverter programming
• Industrial vision is an asset

3.3 Practical Experience

• Designer of industrial solutions
• Team leading and work planning
• Installations at customer premises
• Understanding customer needs and capturing system requirements

3.4 Languages

• Fluency in English
• Spanish, French or German are relevant assets

4. Maximum Compensation

Defined according to experience
