Role Overview

We are looking for a C++ Senior Developer to join our teams in Lisbon and integrate a high-performing global technology team focused on the development of an ultra-low latency electronic trading platform.

You will contribute to the evolution of innovative trading solutions, working with state-of-the-art technologies and modern C++ standards to develop high-performance systems that support algorithmic trading, market data distribution, and exchange connectivity in a demanding real-time environment.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain critical components of a high-performance electronic trading platform;
• Design and implement new algorithmic trading models, market data services, and exchange connectors;
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including technical analysis, development, testing, code reviews, and documentation;
• Collaborate with global engineering, business, and support teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions;
• Contribute to platform improvements, CI/CD processes, production support activities, and innovation initiatives in greenfield projects.

What you are like

• Experience in modern C++ language (C++11/14/17/20), including STL and Boost libraries;
• Experience in developing real-time, high-performance, or high-load distributed systems, ideally within electronic trading environments;
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms;
• Experience in Agile software development practices and the complete SDLC;
• Fluent in English.
