Role Overview

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our teams in a highly challenging data environment within the banking sector. You will be responsible for analysing, designing, implementing and maintaining data solutions that support enterprise data platforms and Data Warehouse initiatives. The role involves developing data ingestion pipelines, ensuring data quality and governance, supporting production environments, and contributing to the continuous evolution of data architecture and analytics capabilities.

What you will do

• Analyse, design, implement and test Data Warehouse and data integration solutions aligned with business and technical requirements;
• Develop and maintain data ingestion pipelines, ensuring the reliability, quality and availability of data across enterprise platforms;
• Implement and optimise ETL processes, data models and integration workflows within Big Data and cloud-based environments.

What you are like

• Experience in SQL/T-SQL, Data Warehouse development, data modelling and ETL processes;
• Knowledge of Microsoft BI tools, including Power BI and data visualisation best practices;
• Experienced working within Agile environments and using collaboration tools such as Jira or Confluence;
• Understanding of data governance, data quality and enterprise data architecture principles;
