We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join a Data Engineering & Platform Enablement team, playing a central role in the design, implementation, and evolution of scalable cloud-based data solutions.

• Define and validate data architectures and information models aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the design and implementation of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and scalable data integration solutions.
• Ensure the adoption of engineering best practices related to data quality, observability, performance, governance, and reliability.
• Develop and optimize batch, micro-batch, and near real-time data ingestion solutions.
• Define conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling approaches, including Data Warehouse, Data Vault, and dimensional modelling methodologies.
• Ensure the scalability, operational efficiency, and cost optimization of data platforms.
• Collaborate with architecture, data governance, and business stakeholders to deliver robust and business-aligned solutions.
• Coordinate technology partners and development teams, ensuring technical quality and successful delivery.

Perfil ideal

• Solid experience in Data Engineering, ideally with more than 5 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, particularly Microsoft Fabric and the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Strong expertise in data modelling and modern enterprise-scale data architectures.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, distributed processing solutions, and data streaming architectures.
• Ability to lead technical decision-making and contribute to the evolution of data architecture.
• Experience managing external partners, consulting firms, or multidisciplinary teams is highly valued.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Vantagens

Permanent contract with an annual salary ranging from €50,000 to €55,000.
