Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, tune and maintain Linux-based mid-to-large DB2 LUW database instances for performance and reliability;
• Maintain and improve core datasets critical to daily business operations;
• Implement and optimize database frameworks and solutions that are reliable, fast, scalable and responsive;
• Work in multidisciplinary teams with developers, architects and operations colleagues.

Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Information Technology or equivalent professional experience;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience administering and troubleshooting IBM DB2 LUW database management systems;
• Strong Linux administration (SLES, CentOS), DB2 LUW optimization expertise and experience with enterprise integrations such as Siebel or Cognos;
• VMware familiarity will be valued;
• Fluent English, both oral and written;
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail in high-performance environments;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
