We are looking for a Security AI Engineer to join an organization undergoing a significant expansion in the use of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI and AI Agents within a highly regulated environment.

As part of the Second Line of Defense, you will play an important role in defining security standards, governance frameworks and technical controls that enable the organization to adopt AI securely while effectively managing associated risks.

• Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days on-site per week
• Contract: Permanent contract directly with the client

Key Responsibilities

• Define security requirements and governance standards for AI and GenAI initiatives;
• Assess security risks across AI platforms, APIs, AI Agents, integrations and LLM-based solutions;
• Conduct security reviews, threat modelling and architecture assessments;
• Define security controls related to DLP, tokenization, redaction and secrets management;
• Support secure AI-assisted software development practices;
• Work closely with Engineering and Security teams to ensure AI solutions comply with established security requirements;
• Monitor security risks, control effectiveness and remediation activities;
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of security guardrails for AI adoption.

What We're Looking For

• Professional experience in Application Security, Cloud Security or DevSecOps;
• Strong knowledge of Azure Security, including IAM, RBAC, Managed Identities and Secrets Management;
• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, AI Agents or AI-enabled applications;
• Knowledge of secure software development practices, including SAST and SCA;
• Understanding of DLP, data redaction and tokenization;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Fluent Portuguese and English (C1+).

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of OWASP LLM Top 10, NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATLAS or Google SAIF;
• Experience with Kubernetes, APIs, Containers, IaC, MLOps or LLMOps;
• Knowledge of EU AI Act, GDPR or DORA;
• Previous experience working in highly regulated environments.
