Randstad is looking for an experienced Accounting Technician to join the finance department of a leading international maritime transport company based in Funchal.

In this role, you will work closely with the finance team and report directly to the Finance Management, providing end-to-end accounting support, managing supplier workflows, and collaborating with international teams across Europe.

• Perform day-to-day accounting routines, document classification, and ledger postings;
  
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), invoice validation, and supplier reconciliations;
  
• Perform bank and intercompany reconciliations;
  
• Support month-end and year-end closing tasks;
  
• Prepare and review tax and official statistical filings;
  
• Collaborate with international finance teams and handle daily correspondence in English.
  
  

  competências

  
  
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field;
    
  • 2 to 4 years of proven experience in accounting routines;
    
  • Good command of English (intermediate/upper-intermediate spoken and written level is essential due to the international environment and ERP systems);
    
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (experience with Microsoft Dynamics or SAP is a plus);
    
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive team spirit.
