What you will do

The Industrial Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with industrial customers, identifying business opportunities, and promoting energy supply and decarbonization solutions. The role combines commercial account management, business development, and consultative selling, contributing to sustainable portfolio growth, profitability, and the company's positioning as a strategic partner in the energy transition.

Depending on experience and seniority, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of industrial customers or strategic accounts, ranging from medium-sized businesses to major industrial groups. They will work closely with technical specialists and cross-functional teams to develop tailored solutions that address customers' energy needs, operational challenges, and decarbonization objectives.

• Manage and develop relationships with industrial customers, identifying opportunities to strengthen partnerships, increase customer satisfaction, and grow the portfolio.
• Identify and develop commercial opportunities related to electricity and natural gas supply, energy efficiency, and industrial decarbonization.
• Understand customers' business models, energy consumption patterns, operational requirements, and sustainability objectives to identify opportunities for tailored energy solutions.
• Promote and support the development of energy and decarbonization projects, including solar photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), heat electrification, ETES, physical and financial Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), energy flexibility and management, electric mobility, and specialized technical services.
• Develop commercial proposals and business cases in collaboration with technical experts, ensuring alignment with customer needs and commercial objectives.
• Lead or participate in consultative sales processes and commercial negotiations, contributing to agreements that balance customer value, profitability, and risk management.
• Develop and implement account plans for strategic customers, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize portfolio growth.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, business development, legal, operations, and risk, to ensure the effective development and delivery of customer solutions.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and technological advancements relevant to the industrial energy sector.
• Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM records, and commercial forecasts, ensuring appropriate follow-up on opportunities and customer commitments.
• Support the execution of commercial strategies and contribute to continuous improvements in customer management and business development practices.

What we are looking for

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in B2B sales, account management, business development, or technical-commercial roles.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a commercial and customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and develop solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand technical and financial information.
• Experience in the energy sector, industrial markets, utilities, or energy services.
• Knowledge of energy supply, renewable energy, energy efficiency, or industrial decarbonization.
• Experience working with corporate or industrial customers.
• Familiarity with commercial proposals, contract negotiations, or business case development.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
• Spanish language skills (preferred).
