Your Tasks:

•Works with Regional Procurement Manager and Global Category Managers to drive regional strategy on behalf of Regional Procurement function;
•Responsibility for procurement within specific material categories and respective business region;
•Supervision of international category specific supply markets incl. preparation of market analyzes;
•Initiation of sourcing activities in line with global category strategy;
•Execution of requests for quotation, tender activities, bid comparisons and award decisions;
•Negotiation, implementation and maintenance of applicable frame contracts within the region to support the area of Operational Buying and Dispo;
•Design and implementation of procurement strategies to gain cost reductions and further improvements along the entire supply chain;
•Risk management and task force / troubleshooting in regards to claims and delivery problems;
•Contract implementation and master data maintenance in SAP;
•Category specific procurement controlling to drive continuous supplier evaluation and development;
•Execute potential supplier negotiation and contract implementation;
•Drive action plans with suppliers for gap closure;
•Report, monitor and drive development of cost structures and other KPls within respective categories;
•Support tasks for Global Procurement International;
•Permanent market and supplier research to realize best quality and price;
•Ensure the right level of communication and information between Strategic Buying and other internal functions.

Your Skills:

•Degree in Engineering or related fields (mandatory);
•Minimum 5 years’ experience on Purchasing area (Category Management);
•Technical drawing interpretation competence (Steel works);
•Good Knowledge in IT Tools, Office and SAP;
•Good language skills in English, German as a plus;
•Membership of Global Procurement Institute such as CPS, ISM;
•Additional competence on Contracts Management is a plus;
•Internationally minded, used to multi -cultural environments;
•Strong negotiation /Sourcing and people manager skills;
•Availability for travelling.
