1. Needs
Active Space Automation (ASA) develops, manufactures and deploys Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) for industrial environments, as well as the whole related controlling and management package. This leads to the need for robust management software, including functions such as AGV monitoring, routes planning and definition, quality of service and statistics analysis, AGV remote configuration, AGV traffic management, communications monitoring and interaction with customers ERPs.
Active Space Automation is currently restructuring the Software Engineering department, and in that sense we are looking for a talented Software Engineer, wanting to embrace the challenge of integrating the software engineering department and developing software for the Industry 4.0.
2. Duties & Responsibilities • To integrate ASA Software Engineering Department. • To define software architectures and technologies to be employed. • To maintain the software development cycle. • To define software testing methodologies. • To define and implement software review methodologies. • To write high quality code and documentation
3.2 Key Technical Knowledge • Experience with Postgres and MySQL RDBMS • Experience with Node.js, AngularJS • Experience with the creation and deployment of Docker Containers, Stacks and Swarms • Experience with Linux servers (Debian/CentOS) • Experience with C#, namely Windows Forms apps • Experience with SQLite RDBMS • Experience with versioning software (SVN, GIT) • Knowledge on HTML, CSS • Knowledge on Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration mechanisms and software • Knowledge in basic computer network concepts, namely setting up and managing small networks • Familiar with Universal Markup Language • Familiarity with planning software architectures • Familiar on Linux web server setup configuration (apache, nginx) • Familiar with UI/UX concepts • Familiar with Kubernetes • Familiar with the maintenance of remote systems, using SSH, RDC and others • Familiar with OWASP secure coding practices • Familiar with the planning and implementation of REST APIs • 3.3 Practical Experience • Experience as a software engineer • Communication / soft skills will be highly valued • Ability to work on self-oriented environments • Familiarity with Ansible
3.4 Languages • Fluency in English
4. Maximum Compensation Defined according to experience
